Site Engineer

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The Site Engineer works closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and the construction team to achieve project objectives while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is performed according to approved plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications before implementation.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders regarding site activities.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports.
• Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards, contract requirements, and engineering specifications.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed work quantities for billing and project documentation.
• Prepare Requests for Inspection (RFI), Requests for Information, and other technical documents as required.
• Identify construction issues and recommend practical engineering solutions to minimize delays.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials meet approved specifications before installation.
• Ensure that all site activities comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project management.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, punch listing, and project turnover activities.
• Maintain accurate site records, as-built drawings, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Report project issues, delays, and potential risks to the Project Manager and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization within the project site.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction site supervision.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
• Knowledgeable in construction methods, quality control procedures, and engineering standards.
• Familiarity with the National Building Code of the Philippines and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
