About the role
Metro Container Corporation is looking for a skilled Offset Printing Operator to join our dynamic team in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in our printing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality printed materials that meet our clients' exacting standards.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and maintaining offset printing machines to produce a variety of printed tinplate materials and tinplate packaging
- Preparing and setting up printing equipment, such as plates, inks, to ensure efficient and accurate printing
- Monitoring and adjusting printing parameters to maintain consistent print quality and colour accuracy
- Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to prevent downtime
- Collaborating with the design and pre-press teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules
- Maintaining detailed production records and reporting on any issues or concerns

What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Offset Printing Operator or in a similar role within the printing and publishing industry
- Strong technical skills in offset printing, including knowledge of printing processes, machinery, and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality printed output
- Good colour vision and the ability to maintain consistent colour matching and reproduction
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and address any printing-related issues
- Ability to work well in a team and follow standard operating procedures
