- We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Helpdesk Analyst to provide first-line support to end-users and ensure the integrity and reliability of our data backup systems. This role combines traditional helpdesk responsibilities with proactive monitoring and management of backup operations.
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
- Document incidents, solutions, and procedures in the knowledge base.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor daily backup jobs and ensure successful completion.
- Investigate and resolve backup failures or anomalies.
- Perform routine backup restores to verify data integrity.
- Maintain backup logs and generate reports for audits and compliance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize backup strategies.
- Familiarity with backup software (e.g., Veeam, Backblaze).
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., SyncroMSP).
- Basic networking and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology
- Experience with backup software such as Veeam or Backblaze
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Experience with ticketing systems like SyncroMSP
- Basic networking and troubleshooting skills
- 5-8 years of experience in Information Technology
- Must be located in the Philippines
