Stone & Tile Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Location: JDN Building 3 & 4, P. Remedio Street, Mandaue City, Cebu Work Setup: Onsite Schedule: Graveyard Shift | Fixed Weekends Off Employment Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: USD per hour About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Stone & Tile Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in stone and tile takeoffs, quantity surveying, construction estimating, or material quantity calculations. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural and construction plans, accurately calculating material quantities, and preparing detailed takeoffs to support project estimating and planning. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate stone and tile material quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction plans. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, dimensions, and project documents. Calculate material quantities and prepare detailed takeoffs for project requirements. Identify relevant dimensions, areas, measurements, and material specifications from plans. Review drawings and specifications to ensure quantities are complete and accurate. Use estimating and construction software to prepare and manage takeoffs. Coordinate with relevant teams to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized and accurate estimating records and documentation. Ensure takeoffs are completed accurately and within project deadlines. Adapt to different project requirements, drawings, specifications, and estimating processes. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in stone and tile takeoffs, quantity surveying, construction estimating, or a closely related field. Strong experience performing material quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction plans. Experience with stone and tile construction or estimating is strongly preferred. Proficient in: AutoCAD Bluebeam Microsoft Office PlanSwift Procore Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, specifications, and dimensions. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Highly accurate when calculating quantities and preparing takeoff documents. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines. Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and coordination skills. Candidates should be able to confidently interpret construction documents and translate project plans into accurate material quantities and takeoffs.
