Finance Intern Position Description
Finance Intern Responsibilities include: . Financial Record Maintenance: Assist in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers, schedules, and reconciliations. Ensure documentation is organized and readily available for review and audits.
. Month-End Closing Activities: Support the monthly financial close by preparing reconciliations, booking accruals, reclassifying transactions, and validating financial data.
. Statutory Filings & Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure timely submissions to regulatory bodies.
. Profit & Loss (P&L) Analysis: Prepare and maintain accounts payable (AP) and expense schedules, perform variance analysis to explain key cost drivers, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate supporting data. Assist in month-end activities including accruals, cost reclassification, and validation of expenses for completeness and accuracy. Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
. Min 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting
. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
