Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderly appearance across all company premises, including offices, rest areas, restrooms, and common facilities. Ensures a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors while managing housekeeping supplies and adhering to health standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Sanitation & Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of offices, meeting rooms, hallways, and lobbies.
- Restroom & Amenities Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and replenish supplies (soaps, paper towels, tissue) in restrooms, pantries, and break areas throughout the day.
- Waste & Hygiene Management: Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclable materials; sanitize trash bins and high-touch surface areas regularly.
- Inventory & Supplies Tracking: Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals, tools, and consumables; report reorder needs to supervisors.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow standard safety precautions when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment; place safety signage (e.g., wet floor signs) to prevent hazards.
- Event & Setup Support: Assist in preparing and clearing spaces for internal events, meetings, or company gatherings.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in commercial, corporate, or hotel housekeeping/custodial work is an advantage.
- Housekeeping NC II certification or vocational training is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical safety (SDS), and sanitation protocols.
- Familiarity with operating commercial cleaning tools (vacuums, polishers, pressure washers).
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and order.
Personal & Physical Attributes:
- Physical endurance: ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work for extended periods.
- Good time management and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Punctual, dependable, and courteous towards staff and visitors.
