Quantity Surveyor Architect

Marney Industries Corporation is looking for a skilled and detailed-oriented QS Architect to join our growing fit-out team.
The roles focuses on both architectural design coordination and project estimation for commercial, office, residential, hospitality, and retail fit-out projects. The ideal candidate is capable of balancing design creativity with practical construction costing and project execution.
Key responsibilities
Architectural & Fit-Out Design
- Prepare architectural drawings, fit-out layouts, and design presentation
- Develop concept designs, space planning, and detailing for fit-out projects
- Coordinate with clients regarding design requirements and revisions
- Prepare shop drawings and construction details
- Assist in materials and finish selection
- Conduct site inspections and verify actual site conditions
- Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with project budgets
Quantity Surveying & Estimation
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs and detailed cost estimates
- Analyze plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Source supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare project proposals and bid submissions
- Assist in budgeting, cost monitorin, and value engineering
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and project management teams
- Prepare variation order costing and additional works evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect is an Advantage
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in fit-out, interior constructions, architectural design, or estimation works
- Strong experience in commercial, office, residential, or hospitality fit-out detailing
- Strong Coordination, presentation and communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
