- Bachelor's degree in a Business, Communication, Sales and Marketing or a related field.
- Proven extensive experience in a SCM services role, preferably in a multinational companies.
- 7-10 years experience in leading Global Transition projects for SCM-related migrations to off-shore locations.
- At least 15 years of people management experience in a global environment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise-wide SCM implementations, support, regulations, compliance, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Business English, stakeholder management and presentation skills to work in a global environment and collaborate with Director and C-level management colleagues and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact of the company for consultation on transfer projects for SCM Services (identifying and analyzing potentials).
- Be involved in the planning and execution of transition projects from other locations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations, industry best practices and the like while ensuring the transfers are done in a way that is best for the Ivoclar context in the most cost-efficient and quality-driven way.
- Responsible for overseeing and running the operations of the services being delivered from the company to the various subsidiaries it supports and ensuring all KPIs and SLAs are met and reported out to stakeholders accordingly.
- Responsible for Strategic, Operational, and Technical Leadership for the teams composed of professionals with varied, in-depth, or niche technical knowledge and abilities ; consolidating their work and ensuring its quality and accuracy, especially for reporting purposes.
- Acts as the people manager for the associates and team leads delivering the service, ensuring compliance with SLAs and fulfilling the administrative tasks that go along with it.
- Improve and standardize SCM Service processes to enhance efficiency and the quality of work delivered.
- Address concerns of finance counterparts and collaborate with them to effectively execute services.
- Manage strategic planning initiatives, changes, governance infrastructure and risk management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on skills and experience.
- Adhere to the Code of Business Conduct, Internal Control System, and all subscribed standards.
Objective of the position: The primary aim of the Head of SCM Services is both strategic and operational.
Strategic: He/she will be the company's face to the customer of SCM Services and will be the key resource of the company related to SCM Services—able to build relationships with key customers (ex: finance directors of subsidiaries, etc.) and give expert advice on transition projects.
Operational: Ensure SCM Services delivery operations meet the SLAs, KPIs, internal and external regulatory requirements in an efficient, quality-driven manner using his/her professional background.
This person should be the lead business partner for the organization and has sound technical as well as management skills and is able to lead different service delivery teams (ex: teams covering all aspects of Logistics, Procurement, etc.) and other services of the company has existing or will develop in the future.
This person is expected to have a firm grasp of the supply chain business and trends and is expected to implement improvement projects that are geared towards quality, compliance and efficiency in all aspects of the business operations.
And, often plays a key role in implementing enterprise-wide best practices in order to identify and manage all financial and business risks and to meet the organization's desired business and fiscal goals.
