Experienced Accounting Associate

Remotely Philippines OPC
- Prepares day-to-day journal entries (e.g., recording receipts, disbursements, and adjustments) with oversight from team leads/ seniors.
- Record and reconcile daily transactions (cash, AR, AP) accurately.
- Maintain supporting schedules, ledgers, and documentation for assigned accounts.
- Prepare reports and summaries using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intact) and Excel.
- Monitor progress using checklists; flag missing information or delays to seniors.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client or internal queries.
- Assist seniors with month-end close, reconciliations, and ad hoc reports.
- Learn from feedback and gradually take on tasks independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or audit experience
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, Netsuite, or audit tools is a plus
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and reconciliations
- Proficient in Excel (SUM, filters, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP)
- Proactive, Detail-oriented, accurate, and consistent
- Clear and professional communication in a remote setup
- A team player and with growth mindset
- Demonstrates accountability, inclusivity, and professionalism
- Amenable to working in a fully remote setup
