Junior Accountant

About the Role:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced  Accountant with a strong background in  AppFolio or any Property Software to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience managing property accounting, is tech-savvy, and can work independently to maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties or clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using AppFolio.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, owner statements, and CAM reconciliations.
• Ensure timely recording of rent collections, security deposits, and vendor payments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for properties.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with property managers, owners, and vendors to resolve accounting issues.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare tax support documents and assist with audits as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with residential and commercial portfolios.
• Familiarity with other property management systems is a plus.
• Prior experience in an outsourced or multi-client accounting environment is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience working with AppFolio in a property accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience with property management accounting is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard office tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants must be willing to work as an Independent Contractor and flexible to work in any shift schedule.
• Applicants must have their own equipment and stable net connection to work from home
