We are seeking a focused and detail-oriented Data Encoder who will collect, organize, and encode data to ensure company databases remain accurate and up-to-date. This role supports both the IT and production operations, requiring strong accuracy, initiative, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather invoices, reports, personal details, documents, and data from employees, departments, and clients.
- Review and scan information to identify correct and relevant details.
- Correct and organize data for fast and accurate encoding.
- Create and maintain accurate spreadsheets.
- Encode and update information in company databases.
- Ensure all encoded data is properly backed up.
- Notify relevant departments of data discrepancies or errors found.
- Store hard copies of documents properly for easy retrieval.
- Provide production support as needed.
- Perform other related tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in any course
- Preferred: College graduate with 1 year experience as Encoder or Production Support
- 1–2 years total encoding experience is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in basic Excel formulas: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT
- Strong typing skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Able to work with databases and large volumes of information
- Organized, diligent, and adaptable
- Good communication and teamwork skills
