We are hiring a Farm Poultry Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of farm facilities and equipment. The role requires someone with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing farm machineries to ensure smooth and continuous poultry operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and repair of poultry houses, tools, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues in farm machinery and systems (e.g., feeding lines, water systems, ventilation fans, and motors).
- Monitor and maintain proper operation of automatic feeders, drinkers, and climate control systems.
- Ensure compliance with biosecurity, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime of farm equipment.
- Assist in daily poultry operations such as brooding, feeding, and harvesting when needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or safety hazards to the farm manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Vocational/Technical Course Graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Technology (preferred).
- With experience in troubleshooting and repairing farm machinery or mechanical equipment (required).
- Knowledge in basic electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical systems .
- Physically fit and able to work in a farm environment.
- Honest, hardworking, and can work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Preferably residing near the farm or willing to stay on-site.
