- A Retail Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, stocking merchandise, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.
- This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Greet and assist customers with their purchases and inquiries.
- Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer experience.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Restock shelves, ensure proper product placement, and maintain store displays.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counting and receiving deliveries.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Follow company policies, including health and safety guidelines.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to store goals.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weights.
