Training Events Coordinator

The Training Events Coordinator provides essential administrative and technical support for BNI training sessions. This position ensures that training events run smoothly by handling logistics, managing training technology platforms, and assisting both trainers and participants with technical and administrative needs. This role reports to the Training Manager.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage technology platforms for online and hybrid training sessions.
- Provide technical support to participants and trainers during training events.
- Create marketing materials for all training-related communications.
- Support in promoting and marketing training sessions via Viber Community, Website and other channels
- Manage training registration, payment, attendance tracking, and follow-up communication.
- Assist the Training Manager in coordinating training logistics and materials.
- Maintain training records (via BNI Connect) and update training resources as needed.
- Work on ad-hoc functions related to Member Support as required by FMSSM.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in event and corporate training planning or coordination.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, including time management; high attention to details; Ability to quickly identify problems, analyze options, and implement effective solutions
- Qualities and Traits: Excellent verbal/written communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in use of technology platforms and applications: MS Office, Zoom, Canva and Photoshop, Media equipment operation; Familiarity with traditional and contemporary training methods and techniques
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working Conditions: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
