Job Description:
The Account Executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves developing sales strategies, presenting service proposals, and coordinating with internal departments to meet client requirements and achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business accounts through active prospecting and networking
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and repeat business
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and service agreements
- Coordinate closely with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client requirements
- Conduct regular client visits and business reviews to assess needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Achieve assigned sales targets and performance metrics
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to help refine sales strategies
- Prepare sales reports and updates for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
- With at least 1–3 years of experience in sales or account management (preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or related industry)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building ability
- Goal-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM tools
