Coffee Machine Technician

The Coffee Machine Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of coffee machines. This role also involves client support, product demonstration, and ensuring machines operate efficiently to deliver high-quality beverages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties:
- Perform installation, calibration, testing and repair of coffee machines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, including descaling, cleaning, and greasing of machines.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide on-site service and technical support to clients.
- Train clients on proper machines operation, beverage operation, and daily maintenance.
- Conduct quality testing of newly delivered units prior to installation.
- Prepare service reports, including repair assessments and cost equipment.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Secondary Duties:
- Assist in repair and rework of other appliances.
- Support product demonstrations and client presentations when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Technician/Vocational course (Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in repairing coffee machines, espresso machines, or similar equipment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willing to do fieldwork and travel to provincial areas if required.
- With good communication and customer service skills.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
