Job Position Summary
The Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities. The role ensures accurate and timely filing of tax requirements, provides strategic tax advice to management, and ensures compliance with Philippine tax laws and regulations. The position also supports business operations by identifying tax risks and opportunities while leading and developing the tax team.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all tax returns and related reports.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws, regulations, and government requirements.
- Conduct tax reviews and assessments to identify risks, issues, and tax-saving opportunities.
- Provide tax advice and support to management on business transactions and operational decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team while coordinating with external auditors and consultants.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably in a large organization or professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in managing teams and handling tax audits, planning, and reporting.
