Senior Operations Specialist

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement and Policy Servicing team at Marsh BCS. This role will be based in Taguig City, Metro Manila . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Senior Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the execution of complex operational processes. This role involves initiating the renewal process, requesting quotes, generating comparative analyses, and facilitating policy issuance. As a senior team member, they will leverage their advanced skills and experience to assist in training and development, perform in-depth data analysis and reporting, and serve as a backup to team leads in task management and strategic initiatives.

We will count on you to:

• Initiate the renewal process for insurance policies, ensuring compliance with company standards and timelines

• Request and evaluate quotes from insurers to support the renewal and placement of policies

• Generate and present comparative analyses in collaboration with the client management team to assess various insurance options

• Facilitate the sending of placement and quote slips to insurers for timely policy issuance, ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Conduct comprehensive policy checks to verify compliance and accuracy, addressing any discrepancies promptly

• Raise and manage billing requests to ensure accurate invoicing and financial tracking

• Perform data analysis and reporting to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvement

• Assist in the development and facilitation of training sessions and refresher training for team members to enhance operational knowledge and skill

• Act as a backup to team leaders in managing tasks, projects, and initiatives, including incident management and escalation handling, ensuring continuity and support for team objectives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency

• Adherent to company policies and performance standards, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability

What you need to have: 

• Basic understanding of non-life insurance concepts such as policy coverage, renewals, endorsements, and quotes gained through education, training, or work experience

• Ability to work with operational systems and data. Comfortable using MS Excel, Outlook, and workflow or case management tools to track requests and documents

• Strong attention to detail when preparing, reviewing, and validating policy documents, quote slips, and comparative reports

• Exposure to non-life insurance operations, policy servicing, or placement support in a brokerage environment, insurance providers, or shared services

• Experience creating or reviewing comparative analyses, policy schedules, or insurer quotes

• Familiarity with SLA-driven environments, ticketing/workflow tools, or quality and compliance checks
