A trusted FMCG company is seeking a Business Manager to join their business. This role offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the sales and marketing landscape by working closely with local distributors and partners. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing robust product offerings tailored to the Philippine market. What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with local distributors and partners to achieve financial objectives including revenue targets and profitability, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned towards shared goals.
- Manage distributor networks effectively by evaluating product offerings and identifying opportunities for expansion within the Philippine retail market.
- Provide comprehensive short-term and long-term sales forecasts to inform business strategy and support decision-making processes at all levels of the organisation.
- Plan and execute sales tasks as well as any assignments from the Chief Commercial Officer - Asia, maintaining clear communication channels throughout project delivery.
- Initiate and coordinate action plans designed to penetrate new market segments, leveraging your understanding of local consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities.
- Launch key new programmes, initiatives or products in targeted channels or retailers, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
- Deliver timely feedback to management regarding distributor performance and local market trends, enabling responsive adjustments to business strategies.
- Identify future new product opportunities by monitoring industry developments and customer preferences within the Philippine retail sector.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing teams to provide accurate pricing information for all products, maximising EBIT while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Support brand awareness campaigns and contribute to growing market share by assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans with distributors and partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales or Marketing is required; a Master’s degree is highly desirable for candidates seeking advanced leadership responsibilities.
- At least three to five years of proven experience in sales & marketing within a retail environment is essential for success in this role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Philippine market coupled with hands-on experience managing partners and customers is vital for driving business outcomes.
- Fluency in English alongside native proficiency in Filipino enables effective communication across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent interpersonal skills allow you to foster positive relationships with colleagues, distributors, partners, and customers alike.
- Outstanding communication abilities empower you to present ideas clearly during meetings, negotiations, or presentations.
- Strong negotiation skills help you secure favourable terms while maintaining harmonious partnerships built on trust and mutual respect.
