Project Monitoring Officer
Job Summary
The Project Monitoring Officer is responsible for monitoring the progress of
swimming pool construction projects, coordinating with project sites, and
communicating with clients regarding updates, concerns, and project status. The
role ensures that project accomplishments, schedules, and site activities are properly tracked and reported to management using project monitoring tools such as Gantt Charts and progress reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Monitoring
*Monitor daily and weekly accomplishments of ongoing projects
*Track project timelines, schedules, and target completion dates
*Prepare and update Gantt Charts for all active projects
*Monitor project progress against planned schedules and milestones
*Coordinate with site engineers, and foremen regarding project status
*Prepare accomplishment and progress reports for management
*Ensure project updates are properly documented
Client Coordination
*Communicate with clients regarding project updates and concerns
*Respond to client inquiries and follow up on pending issues
*Coordinate client requests with operations and project teams
*Maintain professional client relationships and customer satisfaction
Operations Coordination
* Coordinate with project sites regarding manpower, materials, and schedules
*Monitor delays, issues, and operational concerns
*Escalate urgent site or client concerns to management
*Assist in scheduling site inspections and meetings Documentation & Reporting
*Maintain project monitoring files and records
*Prepare weekly accomplishment reports and status summaries
*Update project monitoring spreadsheets, Gantt Charts, and tracking systems
*Keep records of client communications and site updates
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
*Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
*Experience in construction industry is an advantage
*Knowledge in project scheduling and Gantt Chart preparation
*Strong communication and coordination skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and project monitoring tools
*Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
*Able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge in construction processes and project monitoring
*Experience in client handling/customer service
*Ability to prepare and interpret Gantt Charts and project schedules
*Good problem-solving and reporting skills
