LOUNGE BARTENDER (3)

Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and (possibly including) balancing cash receipts to record sales.

A Lounge Bartender ensures passengers are provided with the highest level of customer service at all times by greeting them as they enter the lounge and introducing them to all available services and offering assistance where required, to maintain customer loyalty. He/she coordinates and assists in a proactive manner with catering, cleaning and maintenance operations and supplies (stocks) control, so that service standards are met and maintained.

Qualifications:

• College undergraduate level or high school diploma or equivalent, must be able to read and write
• At least shadowing of a bartender (barback) in previous job would be an advantage
• Experience in a hospitality or food and beverage position, as a server, host or front desk agent is valuable
• Need to mix complicated cocktails or create own, thus, bartending or mixology school preferred
• Food handler, barista or alcohol server certifications
• Experience in high-end professional hospitality industry
• English proficient, proficiency in other languages is a plus
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights, as this role often requires 24/7 coverage
