Investment Management Officer

Determines the completeness and accuracy of the financial reports of the Trustee Banks which are consolidated and used by the Investment Management Group (IMG) in making key investment decisions. The consolidated reports also form part of IMG’s database which is used in generating periodic regulatory reports.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidates the following Trust Fund (TF) and Investment Management Account (IMA) financial reports:
a. Balance sheet
b. Income statement
c. Investment activity reports
d. Schedule of earning assets; and
e. Coordinates with accounting department for clarifications (i.e., confirmation of fund
contribution and withdrawals)
- Recommends changes in the accounting process in order to improve the efficiency of the assignments at hand;
- Contributes in the development of projects (systems) that would improve the accounting process; and
- Implements the changes that were recommended as well as the projects that are in the pipeline.
- Prepares regulatory reports in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Insurance Commission (IC) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP); and
- Monitors and updates the Investment Management Group (IMG) of Circulars (CL) issued by the IC.
- Manage risks in accordance with the company’s Risk Management Framework and related policies – including timely reporting of operational loss incidents and active participation in the company’s risk management activities.
