Supply Chain and Operations Lead

The Supply Chain & Operations Lead owns the overall strategy, performance, and people leadership of Supply Chain & Operations function, covering demand/supply planning, warehouse operations, and vendor management. The role is accountable for building team capability and

succession, setting a clear decision authority framework, and leading supply chain readiness for new markets, platforms, and brand launches. This role sets strategic direction and is empowered to delegate execution — including SC&OP sign-off and day-to-day operational management —

to the DSP Manager and Warehouse Ops Supervisor respectively, stepping in on trade-off decisions, escalations, and cross-functional alignment at a leadership level.

Responsibilities:

1. People Leadership

● Build, coach, and develop direct reports (Operations Associate, Demand & Supply Planner / DSP Manager, Warehouse Ops Supervisor) — including performance reviews, career development plans, and succession planning.

● Define and communicate a decision authority matrix clarifying what direct reports can decide independently versus what requires the Lead's sign-off.

2. Supply Chain Strategy & Governance

● Implement supply chain solutions, including Warehouse Management Systems and Order Management Systems, with internal teams and external vendors.

● Set strategic direction for the SC&OP framework and make final calls on supply/demand trade-offs, while empowering the DSP/DSP Manager to own day-to-day planning execution and

sign-off.

● Provide cross-functional leadership: align supply chain strategy with Commercial, Brand, and Finance at a leadership level.

3. Vendor & Risk Management

● Own vendor strategy and contract management: manage the vendor portfolio and contract renewals at a strategic level.

● Own supply chain risk management: identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks; report risk posture to the Country Head.

4. Capability & Systems Building

● Build supply chain capability: own the roadmap for systems, process maturity, and people development across the SC&OP team.

● Provide recommendations and feedback for the development of in-house supply chain tech solutions.

5. Expansion & Compliance

● Lead supply chain readiness for new channels/markets: own set-up and go-live planning when AIRR Labs enters new platforms, markets, or brand launches.

● Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.

6. Performance Oversight

● Establish performance metrics; monitor overall operational performance across the team and provide direction on issues that arise.

● Provide regular performance reports to management and cross-functional teams with clear recommendations for improvement.

● Maintain clear differentiation between the Lead's strategic accountabilities and the Warehouse Ops Supervisor's operational accountabilities (SOPs, cost management, supplier monitoring, performance metrics), formally delegating operational execution to the Supervisor.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate study is a plus

● Minimum of 8-10 years in supply chain/operations, including at least 3-5

years in a leadership role managing multiple direct reports, preferably in

e-commerce or FMCG

● Proven senior people leadership, coaching, and succession planning experience

● Strategic supply chain planning and risk management

● Strong vendor/contract negotiation and portfolio management skills

● Ability to align cross-functional leadership stakeholders (Commercial, Brand, Finance)

● Comfortable defining and enforcing decision authority frameworks
