Cosmetics R&d Specialist

- Formulate and develop new beauty and personal care products such as shampoo, lotion, conditioner, perfume, and related cosmetic items .
- Mix and test chemicals to achieve desired texture, stability, fragrance, and effectiveness.
- Improve existing formulations for better efficacy, cost-efficiency, and product stability.
- Conduct laboratory tests, product trials, and evaluations to ensure safety, quality, and performance.
- Research new raw materials, suppliers, and technologies relevant to product innovation.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Marketing teams to support scale-up and commercialization.
- Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and stability reports for regulatory submission.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, DOH, GMP, and ISO standards .
- Provide technical support for production troubleshooting and quality improvements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Licensed Chemist or Licensed Chemical Technician is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in R&D within the beauty/cosmetics or personal care industry .
- Must be knowledgeable in mixing and handling chemicals for shampoo, lotion, conditioner, and perfume formulations .
- Strong understanding of raw materials, cosmetic formulations, and stability testing.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
