Role Overview The COO leads the company's day-to-day operations and translates corporate strategy into measurable business results. This role integrates Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, Business Development, and Customer Service into one aligned operating system, balancing growth, cost, quality, compliance, and customer experience. Reports to the President/CEO. Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide operations across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Business Development, Commercial Excellence, and Customer Service.
- Translate corporate strategy into integrated operating priorities, governance routines, and measurable outcomes.
- Establish KPIs, scorecards, and review mechanisms; intervene early when performance is off-track.
- Strengthen commercial operations through sales force effectiveness, CRM discipline, and commercial analytics.
- Ensure product availability across demand planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Lead strategic relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, distributors, and third-party service providers.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical standards including GMP, GDP, and GSP.
- Drive continuous improvement, process redesign, automation, and productivity initiatives.
- Build and develop operational leaders with clear accountability and succession planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
- 10–15 years of progressive leadership in commercial operations, or supply chain is required. With focus on sales and marketing, and business development.
- Experience managing multiple functions in a complex, fast-moving business is required.
- Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG experience highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of GMP, GDP, and GSP requirements.
- Experience in sales force effectiveness, CRM, and 3PL management.
