Senior Backend Developer (Azure)

We're Hiring: Senior Backend Developer (Azure) Work Setup: Fully Remote | Midshift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM) Location Requirement: Philippine-based applicants only We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong Azure expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions for enterprise applications. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. At least 5+ years of experience in Backend Development. Strong experience with C#/.NET development. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and scalable backend architectures. Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs. Strong understanding of error handling, resiliency, performance optimization, and backend best practices. Required Technical Skills Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including: Azure App Service Azure Container Apps Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure Functions Azure Service Bus Event Grid Event Hubs Azure Storage Services Strong database experience with: SQL Server / Azure SQL Query Optimization Indexing Strategies Transaction Management Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases Experience with: OAuth2 / OpenID Connect Azure AD / Entra ID Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Azure Key Vault Secure Coding Practices Strong knowledge of: Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines GitHub Actions Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM) Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, and Contract Testing) Nice to Have Experience with Azure AI Search (Cognitive Search). Experience designing search indexes and data sources. Exposure to AI-powered applications and enterprise search solutions. What We're Looking For Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience working in Agile environments. Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
