Senior Accountant (Manila/Bangkok)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage global accounting processes for bank payments and credit card transactions.
- Ensure compliance with international VAT/GST regulations and reporting requirements.
- Oversee accurate revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review tax filings and related financial reports.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Customer Support teams to align financial operations with company policies.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
- Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial workflows.
- Occasionally travel internationally to support business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of global VAT/GST systems and tax regulations related to digital goods and services.
- Familiarity with bank and credit card processing, payment gateways, and fraud prevention measures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or Exact accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting tools such as Looker, Power BI, or SQL is an advantage.
