Hotel Receptionist

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling front desk operations, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure

Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently

Handle room reservations via phone, email, and booking platforms

Answer guest inquiries and provide hotel information

Manage guest complaints professionally and promptly

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments

Process payments, invoices, and daily billing accurately

Maintain guest records and front desk documentation

Answer telephone calls and redirect inquiries appropriately

Ensure the reception area remains professional and organized

Assist guests with transportation, local information, and special requests

Monitor room availability and update booking systems

Follow hotel security, safety, and confidentiality procedures

Candidate Requirements

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Basic computer knowledge and email handling

Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

Previous hotel reception or hospitality experience

Knowledge of hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds, etc.)

Additional language skills are considered an advantage

Diploma or certification in Hospitality or Tourism is preferred

Rotational shifts

Morning / Evening / Night shifts may apply

Weekend and holiday availability required
