About this Position

As a Principal Solution Owner (Cyber Risk & Compliance AI Platform), you will play a pivotal role in strengthening Henkel’s cybersecurity and risk management capabilities through innovative, AI-driven solutions. You will own and evolve a strategic platform that enables the organization to identify, assess, and manage cyber risks across a complex technology landscape.

Working in an AI-first development environment, you will partner with engineers, security experts, and business stakeholders to shape the platform’s architecture, develop AI-enabled capabilities, and ensure reliable day-to-day operations. This role offers the opportunity to influence how artificial intelligence is applied to cybersecurity, risk, and compliance while delivering scalable solutions that support business resilience and security.

What you´ll do

• Own and evolve the existing Cyber Risk & Compliance platform, transforming the codebase into a stable, scalable, and enterprise-ready solution

• Design and implement solution architecture, including data models, APIs, integrations, and security concepts across IT and OT environments
• Develop AI-enabled software using agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI coding tools to enhance cyber risk assessment and mitigation capabilities
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems such as CMDB, IAM, security tools, and OT systems
• Ensure reliable day-to-day operation of the GRC solution, including administration, control execution, monitoring cycles, issue handling, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with a small engineering team in an AI-first environment and translate complex technical topics into clear, decision-ready information for senior stakeholders 

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in enterprise software engineering, solution architecture, or a related technology field
• Hands-on experience developing software using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies, with strong knowledge of prompt engineering and agentic AI
• Strong engineering skills with the ability to design, validate, improve, and maintain AI-generated code, as well as solid knowledge of data modeling, APIs, and system integration
• Experience operating and maintaining enterprise applications with a strong DevOps mindset; experience in GRC, cybersecurity risk, or compliance environments is highly preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams
• Amenable to work on a mid-shift schedule (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM) PH time on a hybrid work set-up, with three (3) days in the office
