Job Summary: The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of technical products or solutions by understanding customer needs, presenting appropriate solutions, and building strong client relationships. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales expertise to effectively communicate product value and support business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads
- Present, demonstrate, and explain technical products or solutions to clients
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to address technical queries
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field
- Proven experience in technical sales or solution selling
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of technical products or solutions relevant to the industry
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them for clients
- Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of market trends and competitor landscape
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and events
