Accounts Associate - All-Rounder

About The Role We are seeking a proactive Accounts Associate to join our finance team in an all-round role. You will manage the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, covering everything from invoice processing and payments to member billing, enquiries, and cash collection. You will also support month-end and general accounting tasks. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants to build broad accounting experience. Junior candidates are welcome to apply. Reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine drive to achieve results matter just as much as years of experience. Requirements Skills and Experience
- Experience across both accounts payable and accounts receivable (2+ years preferred), ideally in a customer-facing finance role. Junior candidates and graduates with some relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience managing high-volume accounts inbox enquiries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid accounting knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong overall computer literacy.
- Experience with multi-entity environments and high-volume transactions is desirable.
- Hard-working, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to work independently in an offshore setup.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative, can-do attitude.
- Accounts Payable
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function for assigned portfolio entities, including accurate and efficient posting of vendor invoices.
- Process weekly accounts payable payment batches.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve vendor queries.
- Manage and respond to the accounts payable email inbox.
- Reconcile company credit and debit card transactions.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accounts payable forecasts.
- Assist with the procurement process.
- Manage and respond to the accounts receivable inbox and member enquiries via email and phone, providing clear and professional support.
- Resolve issues relating to invoices, payments, and account balances with a member-first approach.
- Manage the end-to-end monthly billing cycle, including pre-billing, billing day, and post-billing support.
- Handle high volumes of billing enquiries, including adjustments, credits, and clarifications.
- Keep accurate records of all communications and collection activities in the system.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding balances in a timely manner.
- Track and report on collection progress, overdue balances, and key risks.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end close, including preparing journals and maintaining accurate general ledger records.
- Assist with system data migration, document procedures, and contribute to process improvements.
- Provide support with broader finance tasks as needed.

- Clear and articulate communicator – Confident in both spoken and written English.
- Solid accounting knowledge – Essential for the role.
