Chief Financial Officer (Healthcare)

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with a leading organisation in the Healthcare industry to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This opportunity is based in the Philippines and offers a strategic leadership role for an accomplished finance executive to drive long-term financial sustainability, governance, and growth.
Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides enterprise-wide financial leadership, shaping financial strategy, capital allocation, governance, and risk management across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role plays a critical part in supporting strategic decision-making, sustainable growth, and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Governance: Set overall financial strategy, oversee long-term planning, and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Capital Allocation & Performance: Lead capital planning and investment prioritisation across clinics, infrastructure, and expansion initiatives. Monitor profitability, cash flow, and balance sheet health.
- Executive Leadership & Reporting: Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic decisions, performance management, and cost discipline. Lead relationships with banks, auditors, and investors.
- Oversight & Compliance: Guide statutory, tax, and healthcare compliance frameworks, ensuring readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Team Development: Directly supervise the Finance Director and build a scalable finance leadership bench.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with executive-level experience in healthcare or multi-site service organisations.
- Experience navigating organisational growth, expansion, or multi-business/group-level operations is preferred.
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax, statutory, and healthcare compliance.
- Proven track record in capital planning, investment analysis, and financial governance.
- Expertise in financial strategy development, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Strong capability in capital allocation, financial reporting, profitability management, cash flow optimisation, and balance sheet oversight.
- Experience managing relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and regulatory stakeholders.

- Strategic leadership and commercial acumen.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication skills.
- Ability to influence executive teams and drive organisational performance.
