QA/QC Aide (Quality Assurance and Quality Control Aide)

About the role
The QAQC Aide assists the QAQC Engineer or Inspector in monitoring construction activities to ensure that all work meets project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and approved plans. The role involves assisting with inspections, documentation, material checking, and monitoring the quality of construction work on-site.
Key responsibilities
Assist the QAQC Engineer in inspecting construction activities and completed work.
Check construction materials and supplies to ensure they meet project specifications.
Assist in monitoring the quality of installation, workmanship, and other construction activities.
Prepare, organize, and maintain quality control documents, inspection reports, and checklists.
Take photos and document site progress, inspection results, and quality issues.
Report defects, discrepancies, or non-conforming work to the QAQC Engineer or Site Engineer.
Assist in ensuring that construction work follows approved drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate with site personnel, engineers, and subcontractors regarding inspection schedules and quality requirements.
Help ensure compliance with project procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Perform other duties related to quality assurance and quality control as assigned.
About you
At least a high school graduate; vocational or college-level education in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
Preferably with experience in construction, quality control, or site inspection.
Knowledge of basic construction materials, tools, and procedures is an advantage.
Familiarity with construction drawings and inspection checklists is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and willing to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to work on-site and perform field inspections.
Physically fit and willing to work in a construction environment.
Attention to detail.
Basic documentation and report writing.
