The Senior Risk & Compliance Officer will act as the designated Compliance Officer for TMF Philippines, reporting to the Market Head of Risk & Compliance, South Asia & Australasia. The role oversees the Compliance Framework, AML/CFT Program, Data Privacy, Business Continuity, Outsourcing, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policies, while serving as a member of the Country Board and internal committees.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the AML/CFT Compliance Framework and Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MTPP).
• Ensure compliance with AML Act, BSP, SEC, AMLC, NPC, and TMF Group policies.
• Manage client CDD/KYC processes, including enhanced due diligence, beneficial ownership investigations, and documentation for regulatory/audit review.
• Promote awareness and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations through training and monitoring
• Oversee Data Privacy, Business Continuity Planning, Outsourcing Guidelines, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policies.
• Act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies and coordinate filings, renewals, inspections, and permits/licenses database.
• Monitor regulatory changes and prepare compliance dashboards/reports for management.
• Represent compliance in Board and committee meetings, providing risk insights and recommendations.
• Lead audits, inspections, and ad hoc compliance projects, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
• Support internal testing, audits, training initiatives, and mentor junior staff to foster a strong compliance culture.

Key Requirements

The Senior Risk & Compliance Officer will need to show evidence of a variety of technical, social and business skills.

• Degree in business, finance, law, or related discipline; CAMS/ICA qualification preferred.
• 4–6 years of compliance experience with good knowledge of AMLC guidelines, STR/CTR, Data Privacy Act, and Business Continuity.
• Experience in AML/KYC/Due Diligence processes, monitoring, and screening tools (World Check, KYC360 familiarity an advantage).
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to build relationships across all levels.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and productivity tools.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a collaborative mindset and ability to mentor others
