About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting
Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for
maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting,
managing daily accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with company
policies and accounting standards
Key
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor cash flow and bank transactions.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes and other government statutory requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate filing of accounting documents and records.
- Support the Finance Manager with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
· At least 1–2 years of accounting experience
· Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
