- Conduct investigations to assess the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses.
- Review financial records, credit reports, and other documents to verify information.
- Analyze data to identify potential risks or discrepancies in credit applications.
- Interview applicants or third parties to gather additional information.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on findings.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and credit policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in using credit reporting tools and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interview skills.
- Knowledge of credit laws and financial regulations.
- Previous experience in credit investigation or a similar role (preferred).
