Job Summary
We are looking for a Merchandising Assistant Manager to support the execution of merchandising strategies and oversee day-to-day merchandising operations. This role is ideal for an experienced merchandising professional with leadership experience who is ready to take on greater responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing merchandising plans and sales strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels, product performance, and assortment to maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to recommend business improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product launches and replenishment.
- Supervise merchandising activities and provide guidance to team members.
- Prepare reports, forecasts, and category performance updates.
- Ensure merchandising standards are maintained across assigned product categories.
- Support continuous process improvements within the merchandising function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of merchandising experience in retail or consumer goods.
- Leadership experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of merchandise planning, inventory management, and retail operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
