Accounting Virtual Assistant

Location: JDN IT Center Building 3 & 4, Mandaue City, Cebu (Onsite) Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Graveyard Shift About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Virtual Assistant to support daily accounting operations for U.S.-based clients. The ideal candidate has experience in bookkeeping and accounting processes, is proficient in QuickBooks, and has a strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Key Responsibilities Manage and record daily financial transactions using QuickBooks Prepare and maintain Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Profit & Loss (P&L) reports Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial documentation Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and management reports Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions Qualifications Proven experience as an Accounting Virtual Assistant or in a similar accounting role Experience supporting U.S.-based clients or working with U.S. accounting processes is preferred Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and financial reporting Proficient in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) Ability to prepare financial reports, forecasts, and basic financial analysis Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and time management skills Technical Requirements Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills Experience with accounting software and cloud-based financial systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines What We're Looking For Analytical and detail-oriented Highly organized and dependable Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional and proactive team player Work Setup Full-Time 100% Onsite JDN IT Center Building 3 & 4, Mandaue City, Cebu Graveyard Shift
