Warehouse Team Leader

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure that all incoming materials are thoroughly checked prior to acceptance.
- Confirm that all received items are properly tagged in accordance with their assigned vessel.
- Verify that all delivery documents are accurately completed with the correct references prior to transmittal.
- Prepare items required for stock transfer.
- Oversee the turnover of packed items to the designated onboarding crew for any vessel.
- Assist onboarding crew with baggage checks for both sea and air freight travel.
- Serve as the custodian for updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Prepare all necessary documentation for incoming and outgoing warehouse transactions.
- Ensure that all transferred stocks are properly received on the vessel.
- Maintain the organization, orderliness, and security of the stockroom.
- Address all follow-up requests and inquiries from vessels.
- Actively participate in the company's safety program.
- Act as document custodian for stockroom records.
- Contribute to the company-wide cost-saving initiatives.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Supply Chain Management-related program or any four-year business course.
- Possesses at least three (3) years of solid experience as a Warehouseman in the same industry.
- With working knowledge of the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Results-oriented, with proven experience in cost-saving initiatives, systems, and process improvements.
- Proficient in inventory management.
- Knowledgeable in cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
- With background in cargo transfer operations.
- Physically fit and capable of handling work requirements.
- Willing to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and Sundays, including on-call work arrangements during emergencies.
- Holder of a Professional Driver’s License with restriction codes A, A1, B, B1, B2, C, D (an advantage).
- Skilled in forklift operation.
- With basic knowledge in using measuring device is an advantage.
