Auto Technician Job Description
An Auto Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are safe and operating properly.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance work such as oil changes, tire rotation, brake inspection, and tune-ups.
- Repair or replace broken or defective vehicle parts.
- Use diagnostic tools and computerized equipment to identify vehicle problems.
- Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical repairs.
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain records of repairs, services, and parts used.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards during all repair activities.
- Explain vehicle problems and repairs to supervisors or customers when necessary.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
- He have experience in window tinting, polish, car fil protection
Qualifications
- High school diploma or vocational course in Automotive Technology.
- Proven experience as an Auto Technician or Auto Mechanic.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and repair procedures.
- Ability to use automotive repair tools and equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
- TESDA certification or equivalent is an advantage.
