Job Summary
The TeleSales Representative is responsible for generating new sales opportunities through outbound calls, prospecting potential clients, setting appointments, and closing sales. This role plays a critical part in expanding the company’s customer base by engaging prospects, understanding their needs, and converting leads into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate qualified sales leads
- Identify and research potential clients through databases, referrals, and online platforms
2. Prospecting & Appointment Setting
- Reach out to prospective clients to introduce company products and services
- Build rapport and establish initial relationships with decision-makers
- Schedule sales meetings, product presentations, or demos for the sales team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or inside sales (preferred)
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Confident in handling outbound calls and sales conversations
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2B sales or account management
- Background in selling products or services over the phone
- Negotiation and closing skills
