Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute risk-based internal audit plans across corporate, operational, and farm functions.
- Lead financial, operational, compliance, and special audits to evaluate business performance and controls.
- Define audit scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure effective audit execution.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Identify control deficiencies, operational inefficiencies, compliance issues, and potential fraud risks.
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to strengthen controls and mitigate risks.
- Review compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Support external audits, regulatory reviews, and due diligence activities.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Enhance audit methodologies, reporting processes, and data-driven audit practices.
- Stay current on auditing standards, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in agriculture, retail, or multi-site operations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, internal controls, risk management, accounting
