Position Description
Project Manager – Continuous Improvement & AI Transformation leads strategic initiatives that improve operational performance through process optimization, automation, data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The role will manage initiatives from opportunity identification and business case development through solution design, AI deployment, change adoption, benefits realization, and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong project and program management capabilities with a Continuous Improvement mindset and practical experience implementing AI-enabled solutions within enterprise environments.

This individual will work across business, operations, technology, data, AI, risk, and leadership teams to translate business challenges into scalable solutions while ensuring projects deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, customer experience, and employee experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Project & Program Management
• Lead multiple transformation, Continuous Improvement, automation, and AI initiatives from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, and success measures.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance structures, status reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and provide clear recommendations and escalation paths to senior leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams involving business operations, technology, data, AI/ML, information security, compliance, and external vendors.

Continuous Improvement & Process Transformation
• Identify opportunities to improve processes using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, root cause analysis, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Conduct current state assessments and facilitate the development of future state processes.
• Establish baselines and quantify improvement opportunities related to productivity, cycle time, cost, quality, capacity, and customer experience.
• Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, elimination, automation, and AI augmentation.
• Develop business cases and prioritize initiatives based on business impact, implementation effort, risk, and strategic alignment.
• Establish mechanisms to sustain improvements after project implementation.

AI & Intelligent Automation Deployment
• Lead business-side implementation of Generative AI, AI copilots/assistants, intelligent automation, predictive solutions, and AI-enabled workflow improvements.
• Translate business problems and process pain points into clear AI or automation use cases.
• Partner with AI engineers, data scientists, architects, developers, and business SMEs throughout solution design, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Coordinate pilots and Proofs of Concept (POCs), including use case selection, success criteria, user testing, feedback collection, and readiness assessments.
• Establish clear measurements for AI effectiveness, including adoption, accuracy, productivity gains, quality improvement, time savings, cost avoidance, and ROI.
• Support responsible AI deployment by ensuring appropriate consideration of data privacy, security, governance, human oversight, and organizational policies.
• Develop plans for scaling successful AI pilots into sustainable enterprise solutions.

Change Management & Adoption
• Assess the impact of new processes, automation, and AI solutions on employees, roles, workflows, and operating models.
• Develop stakeholder engagement, communication, training, adoption, and reinforcement plans.
• Work closely with business leaders and frontline users to promote adoption and address resistance to change.
• Establish feedback mechanisms to continuously improve deployed solutions.
• Monitor solution adoption and identify interventions where expected business benefits are not being realized.

Benefits Realization & Performance Management
• Establish project KPIs, operational baselines, and measurable target outcomes before implementation.
• Track benefits including hours saved, productivity improvement, cost reduction/avoidance, quality improvement, cycle time reduction, and customer/service improvements.
• Develop post-implementation reviews to validate whether projects have delivered intended business outcomes.
• Create management dashboards and executive reporting demonstrating transformation portfolio value.
• Maintain a pipeline of Continuous Improvement and AI opportunities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of project/program management experience, preferably involving operational transformation, technology implementation, automation, or Continuous Improvement.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional enterprise projects involving business and technology teams.
• Strong practical knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, process mapping, and root cause analysis.
• Experience implementing or managing projects involving AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, machine learning, analytics, or digital transformation.
• Experience developing business cases and quantifying project benefits and ROI.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities.
• Experience managing organizational change and technology adoption.
• Must be amenable to working onsite 100% in Ortigas, on a night-shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent project management certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with enterprise AI solutions and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI-based solutions, Power Platform, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience with process mining, workflow automation, RPA, or business process management technologies.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI, AI governance, data privacy, security, and risk management principles.
• Experience working in consulting, shared services, BPO, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, or other large enterprise environments.
