- We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing transactions, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The Cashier will also assist with maintaining the store’s cleanliness and organization while providing excellent customer service.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail/customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and perform transactions accurately.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Customer Service: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately process transactions, give correct change, and handle money responsibly.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Organization: Ability to keep the cashier area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address customer concerns or complaints calmly and professionally.
- Multitasking: Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
