About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Agent to join our team at VVS. International Medical Center in Balulang Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to our patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders. As a Customer Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and patient satisfaction. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for outstanding service and support within the healthcare industry.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages from patients and customers in a professional and courteous manner

• Provide accurate information regarding medical services, appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and general facility information

• Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy, resolving issues promptly or escalating to appropriate departments as needed

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate documentation and communication

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions using our systems and databases

• Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and file management

• Collaborate with other departments including medical staff, billing, and facilities to ensure seamless customer service

• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies

• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and communicate feedback to management

• Meet and exceed performance targets including call handling times, customer satisfaction ratings, and quality metrics

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; customer service certification is a plus

• Proven experience in a customer service or call centre environment, preferably within healthcare or medical services

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly

• Strong listening and empathy skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple calls or inquiries simultaneously

• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare services is advantageous but not essential

• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including possible early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts

• Fluency in English and Filipino; additional language skills are beneficial
