Duties and Responsibilities of a Residential Cleaner - Clean and sanitize living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and carpets
- Dust furniture, shelves, appliances, and decorative items
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Clean kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, and microwaves
- Wash dishes and clean countertops and sinks
- Disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, and mirrors
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Organize household items and maintain cleanliness of storage areas
- Refill toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Report any damages, repairs, or safety issues to the homeowner
- Respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality
- Follow cleaning schedules and specific instructions from homeowners
