Quality Compliance Officer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Compliance Officer to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products. As the Quality Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control procedures.

Knowledge in technical aspects of our operations, from product development to quality assurance, with a focus on ensuring product excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished products to identify any deviations or defects.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Experience with food safety audits and certification programs
• Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, production, and supply chain, to ensure the successful launch of new products and the continuous improvement of existing products.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify market trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies to inform product development initiatives and drive product differentiation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes in the food industry to anticipate challenges and opportunities and guide strategic decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and ensure product quality meets expectations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food safety and quality assurance.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Food science, Food Technologist, Food Engineering, or related field;
• Minimum of [2 to 3} years related experience
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, FDA CPR) and quality management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Strong technical expertise in food processing, product development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
