Job Title: Internet Cafe Helper
Department: Internet Cafe Operations
Reports To: Internet Cafe Manager/Supervisor
Summary:
The Internet Cafe Helper is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the internet cafe, ensuring a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment. This role involves a variety of tasks, including customer service, technical support, and general maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
* Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
* Assist customers with computer usage, including basic troubleshooting and software navigation.
* Answer customer inquiries regarding internet cafe services, pricing, and promotions.
* Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Technical Support:
* Monitor computer performance and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
* Assist with basic computer repairs and software installations.
* Ensure all computers are properly functioning and have the latest updates.
* Assist with network connectivity and troubleshooting.
Cafe Maintenance:
* Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment.
* Clean and sanitize workstations, keyboards, and mice regularly.
* Ensure adequate supplies of printer paper, coffee, snacks, and other consumables.
* High School Diploma or equivalent: A basic level of education is necessary.
* Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using common software applications (e.g., word processors, spreadsheets, browsers) is crucial.
* Excellent Customer Service: The ability to interact with customers politely, patiently, and effectively is paramount.
* Teamwork Skills: The ability to work collaboratively with other staff members is essential for a smooth-running operation.
* Attention to Detail: Accuracy and meticulousness are vital for tasks like maintaining records and ensuring equipment is in good condition.
* Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain a clean and organized workspace is important.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.
* Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve minor technical issues is beneficial.
