The Wholesale Account Development Associate (WADA) is
primarily responsible for identifying, acquiring, and growing the wholesale
customer base. This role involves proactive field prospecting, building
long-term business relationships, and driving repeat volume purchases across
key wholesale sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively find and map prospective wholesale buyers across diverse accounts (retailers, food service, institutions, and corporate clients).
- Conduct in-person presentations to present company wholesale offerings, emphasizing price advantages, convenient ordering, delivery options, and loyalty perks.
- Analyze client business models, purchase cycles, and volume needs to deliver tailored product and order solutions.
- Build strong ongoing relationships, monitor reorder cycles to drive repeat and expanded sales, and resolve customer issues promptly
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting Management, or a related field, with 1–2 years of experience in field sales, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or business development ; Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Must know how to drive a motorcycle.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License (Professional or Non-Professional for motorcycle only).
- Ownership of a personal motorcycle is a strong plus / preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability in lead prospecting, cold outreach, and client acquisition.
- Familiarity with local trade channels (sari-sari stores, carenderias, mini-marts, Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, and Catering).
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve target goals in a fast-paced field environment.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with active field routing.
