Quality Assurance and Business Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Business Analyst to ensure the quality of software applications while supporting business requirements analysis. This role combines software testing, process analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure business needs are properly translated into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements
- Perform various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, document, and monitor defects using appropriate QA tools
- Validate system functionality across multiple environments and platforms
- Ensure applications meet quality standards, best practices, and defined requirements
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation such as test reports and defect logs
- Recommend enhancements to improve system performance and overall user experience
Business Analysis (BA)
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and processes
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear specifications
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business/functional documents (BRDs/FSDs)
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and project teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of UAT with stakeholders
- Review existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Qualifications
- Experience in a Quality Assurance Analyst, Business Analyst, or combined QA/BA role
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Solid understanding of business analysis techniques and documentation standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within software development teams (Agile/Scrum experience is a plus)
- QA or BA certifications are an advantage
